Tim Tomaselli played drums in Knoxville, Tennessee's Place of Skulls until he decided to depart in August 2004. Tomaselli left to pursue "personal interests," according to a posting on the band's web site:

"Tim's John Bonham-influenced drumming has become an intrical [sic] part of our sound. The combination of his aggresive attack and knowledge of drum tuning sets him apart from just an ordinary drummer. Replacing him certainly won't be an easy task."

Due to his departure, the recording of a new CD in mid-August and European tour plans for October are now pending.



In November 2004 Place of Skulls and Tim Tomaselli rejoined. With their drummer again behind the kit, Place of Skulls continued working on the material for their next full-length album.
