Tim “Slimmah” Baumgarten is drummer, beatcreator and producer. Slimmah provides digital beats for SlimmahSound Dub System, inspired by British acts like Zion Train, Vibronics, Jah Shaka, Iration Steppas and the Mad Professor.
He also creates beats for hip hop acts and played drums in reggae bands Step Forward and Johnny Baby.
Tim Baumgarten has played drums in several reggaebands in the city of Groningen. He's been playing in reggaebands for five years now, before that it was all hiphop.As a lover of reggae and dub music he tries to give the drums a different sound, mixing the drumming with live-dubwise parts,creating a dub-heavy rhythm-section along with bass player David.
