Tim D. Mooney, drummer for Sun Kill Moon, American Music Club (AMC) and more, has died. He passed away on June 13, 2012. Tim Mooney was 53.



In the 1970s and 1980s, Tim Mooney drummed for the Sleepers, Toiling Midgets, Negative Trend, and others. Tim Mooney joined American Music Club in 1994. His last album with the band was 'Love Songs for Patriots', which he also produced and engineered.



Tim Mooney played drums for Mark Kozelek's first solo album Rock 'n' Roll Slinger in 2000 and Sun Kil Moon's 2003 album Ghosts of the Great Highway.
