Ted Wernersson is also known as Mr Purple, drummer with From Behind, the band featuring two drummers: Carl-Michael Hildesjö also hits the skins.



The group's line-up is completed by ex-Samson/Mammoth singer Nicky Moore and Locomotive Breath/ex-Overdrive guitarist Janne Stark, Matthias Osbäck (guitars, vocals), Mikael Fässberg (lead guitars) and Martin Wezowski (bass). From Behind describe their sound as a mix of "heavy blues riffs and some Southern attitude" spiced up with "some heavy metal power." Mr Purple:

"Purple is not just a colour, it's a state of mind... well, it's even more, it's a way of living, a path chosen by the few of us who understand the deeper meaning of life. I understand, therefore I am - playing drums. Drumming is not just an artform, it's a state of mind... well, it's even more, it's a bloody good way to get rid of underlying aggressions. Therefore I am a calm and kind spirited person. I however have something against drums, therefore I hit them... hard... long... and often. I think John Bonham had a lot of underlying aggressions, too... John was probably a nice person, like me. By the way, groove rules and dynamics are highly overrated."
