Spike Meulders is known as drummer in metal bands Stormrider (eighties metal cover band), Form, and Pantera tribute band The Art of Pantera.



In 1989 he started playing in some local bands. Then in 1992 he joined the band Speedica which later changed into the band Form.



Stormrider started their career somewhere in 1998. Their goal was to play all kinds of 80's metal covers, simply because everyone in the band loves this style of music. Also there were way too little bands playing that kind of great music.



His favorite music is 70's soul, 70's progressive rock and 80's metal (of course). His favorite drummers are Chad Smith, Deen Castronovo and Dave Lombardo.



In March 2004 Callenish Circle announces Spike as a session drummer for all upcoming gigs in 2004, replacing Gavin Harte.
