Sid Montz previously drummed in Crowbar. He replaced Jimmy Bower and was featured on the 2000 album "Equilibrium". However, the band's next album in 2001 saw drummer Tony Costanza in the Crowbar line up.
Nowadays Sid Montz plays in Valume Nob, a Louisiana based band featuring Crowbar/Down guitarist Kirk Windstein on bass. Their current line up is completed by Marc Brignac (ex-Bile, Graveyard Rodeo) on vocals and Frey Theiler on guitar.
The group describe their music as "Agnostic Front meets Celtic Frost with an old-school punk twist". Early 2004 they completed their CD "The Most High". An extended version of this EP was issued in October 2004 through Crash Music Inc. This CD contained the four songs from the original recording as well as two "live" bonus tracks and a 30-minute DVD interview with the band.
