Sean Patrick McCarthy, "Minnow" lost his lifelong battle with a host of medical challenges on Thursday, February 6, 2014 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was 50.



Born in Tom's River, NJ to Virginia and Patrick McCarthy on February 26, 1963, Sean McCarthy lived most of his life in Poughkeepsie, NY and Burlington, VT.



Sean McCarthy was an active member of the Hudson and Champlain Valleys' robust music communities for more than three decades, playing drums with dozens of musicians and lending his considerable talents to some of the best bands in both regions, including The Costellos and The Chris O'Leary Band.
