Rick Hilyard was the initial drummer in heavy metal band Jag Panzer. The Colorado five pieve started out under the name 'Tyrant'.



Rick Hilyard left the band in late 1984. His replacement was a veteran of the Denver rock scene, Reynold 'Butch' Carlson.
