Reynold 'Butch' Carlson played drums in Colorado five piece heavy metallers Jag Panzer.
Carlson replaced initial drummer Rick Hilyard who had left the band in late 1984.
When vocalist Harry 'The Tyrant' Conklin left the band to join Riot, guitarist Joey Tafolla and drummer Reynold Carlson both quit Jag Panzer too. Carlson supported Tafolla and both began to work on Joey's first solo release for Shrapnel Records.
The drum throne in Jag Panzer was filled by a teenager by the name of Rikard Stjernquist. Rikard (or Richard as most people call him) impressed the guys with his fast feet, power
hitting and his love of classic indie metal.
In 2003 Reynold Carlson joined the Cotton Soeterboek Band, the group featuring Dutch musicians Robert Soeterboek (ex-Ayreon) and Joost van den Broek (After Forever).
Reynold Carlson previously worked with Rob Rock, Sahara, Driver, Tribe After Tribe and Totem.
