Raymond J. Enhoffer earned a Bachelors of Music majoring in Percussion at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard. He studied under the tutelage of Fred Hinger, one of the most demanding percussionists and percussion makers.
Ray Enhoffer spent more than 35 years working in the music industry, beginning in the 1970s when he worked for the Hinger Touch-Tone company. Ray Enhoffer also served as the Director of Research and Development for Latin Percussion, Inc. for 23 years.
For many years, Ray Enhoffer has worked as director of LP's Research and Development Department.
Ray Enhoffer, a bit of an LP icon, has participated in producing some of LP's significant percussion developments such as LP Jam Blocks®, Granite Blocks®, Blast Blocks™, Salsa® Cowbells and Ridge Rider® Cowbells.
Prior to his sudded death on June 30, 2012, Ray Enhoffer started his own business, Filament Solutions, continuing to develop products for several companies, including Malletech.
