Randy Barach was born on October 26, 1972 in Burbank, California. He started playing drums in 1989. Currently Barach performs as an independent artist.
After studying classical piano from 1980-1988 Randy also was an active vocalist studying with Mary Rago. In 1989 he started playing drums. He quickly began working as a live performer and studio session drummer. Randy worked closely with Dave Tucker, drummer for Mel Torme. From 1989-1991 Randy played locally and toured international. He later became a band director, specializing in choir tours. In 1991 Randy was awarded best combo musician at Universal Studios Hollywood for his musical direction.
Starting in 1991, Randy worked with a wide variety of groups such as, Cher, Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Chicago, and Lenny Kravitz. During this time he worked with various artists to develop his own style within music. In 1997 Randy recorded his first album entitled, Revelations. In addition to writing, directing, and producing Revelations, he also played all instruments. In 1998 he started his own business called Spiritual Warfare Productions. The company services include live sound engineering, recording film and audio productions, and expanded to feature films, commercials, and television sitcoms. Spiritual Warfare Productions aspects of film include special effects makeup and encouraging individuals to express their art through today’s multimedia.
Randy’s latest project entitled Lennon Scott is currently touring. Lennon Scott began recording in 2000. As a member of ASCAP he has written over thirty songs. Lennon Scott has two current albums available at Tower Records.com and CD Baby.com. On all his albums Randy plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, piano and lead vocals, although his primary instrument is drums and percussion. Over twenty years of performing live, Randy Barach shows exceptional musical skills.
This past year Randy Barach has toured exclusively at many historical locations such as; The Derby, The Baked Potato, The Viper Room and the Whiskey A Go Go. They are currently scheduled to continue touring Southern California as well as the East Coast throughout 2005. Lennon Scott Is Currently being played on the air waves over the east coast and continue to gain rave reviews in The national publication’ New Music Weekly.
