For many years Barry Alexander II sat and watched as his father played drums in church, but Barry wasn't interested in playing the drums himself until he was asked to join the Minnesota Vikings Drum Corps in 2000.
Following his 13 month stint with the Drum Corps Barry began to network himself at nightclubs and other venues in his area. Eventually Barry grew into a talented, confident percussionist, playing with the likes of, Alexander, O'Neal and Anthony Gomes. Alexander got a call from a good friend and mentor of his Michael Bland, about playing alongside rock-n-roller Jonny Lang on his upcoming tour schedule. Together, Lang, Alexander and the rest of the band have garnered platinum and gold certifications, a Grammy nomination, sold-out headline concerts around the world, and toured with the Rolling Stones, among other accolades.
