Ovie Rodriguez played drums in Malicious Onslaught is a New York band that had it’s beginning in 1994. In 2000 Rodriguez teamed up with guitarist Freddy Ordine and formed HavocHate. With Ovie Rodriguez the band released their debut album "This Violent Earth". In April 2004 Rodriguez was replaced by former Slayer and Testament drummer Jon Dette. The latter recorded the drum tracks for their sophomore album, but left soon after. Dette was replaced by a returning Rodriguez.
