Percussionist Oscar Loriënt plays guiro, maracas, and claves among other intruments. He is also known as (lead) vocalist.



Oscar was born in Santiago de Cuba but currently resides in The Netherlands. With guitarist/vocalist Abel Gomez he plays in Amigos de la Calle, Estudiantina Ensemble (featuring Ricardo "Arisides" Bekema), Rumbambola, and Rey Cabrera y sus Amigos among others.
