Neil Martin is a professional drummer and educator who has been playing the drums for over 25 years. He teaches at his studio just outside of London England.
Throughout his career Neil has toured and recorded with artists such as Del Shannon, Archie Bell and the Drells, Percy Sledge, The Chi-Lites, Peter Cox (Go West), Mark Shaw (Then Jericho) Steve Norman (Spandau Ballet) and has been a session musician on many television and radio broadcasts. Neil was also a member of the world famous Jimmy Barnes Band and can be heard on the albums ‘Psyclone’ and ‘The Best of Jimmy Barnes’ and also on the single ‘Change Of Heart’. Whilst a member of the band Neil performed around the world to audiences of up to 110,000 people.
Throughout his career Neil has studied with such teachers as the great ‘Drumming Global Ambassador’ Dom Famularo, Ed Soph, Andy Leask and Bob Armstrong.
Neil has lectured and performed drum clinics and seminars around the U.K. and Australia and to this date still maintains a busy private teaching schedule.
Neil is now regarded as one of the top teachers in the U.K. and continues to teach students of all levels.
