Nat Butler is from Northampton and first performed as a percussionist with a range of local orchestras and bands. He can now be found regularly playing kit on the jazz circuit in the Midlands, and he has recently been awarded a place to study jazz at Trinity College of Music.



When he was younger, Nat Butler played percussion for the Northampton County Youth Orchestra and Big Band and was principal percussionist in their Concert Band. With these ensembles he performed in the Royal Albert Hall and also toured to the USA, Austria, Poland and Finland.



Other appearances include Birmingham Symphony Hall, Glasgow Art College, the Manchester Royal College of Music Recital Hall and London’s South Bank.
