Nathan van de Wouw (Eindhoven, 1970) started playing the drums in 1985. After having participated in several projects, his first 'real' band, called Elysion, was founded in 1988.
This band was mainly into rock music. This band underwent a dramatic stylistic change towards instrumental fusionlike and progressive music in 1992. This resulted in a (home recorded) CD called 'The Wonder Years' in 1997 (which voices the way in which Elysion wrote music: explorative and totally free of convention).
The band consisted of four members: Joop Wolters (guitar), Marc Baetsen (Bass), Thijs Cuppen (keys) and Nathan (drums). Unfortunately the band split up 1998.
Since 1993 Nathan van de Wouw also had another musical occupation: Lemur Voice, with which he recorded a demotape (1995) and two CD's (1996 and 1999). In the mean time (in 1998) parts of Elysion and Lemur Voice and other bands have joined to form a new band called 'Fusilli Jerry', featuring Gregoor van der Loo, Joop Wolters, Thijs Cuppen, Vincent van Heur, Rodrigo Davids and Nathan.
In this band Nathan could express his predilection for pop music and another side of his creativity.
Currently Nathan plays in the band Slow Poke Rodrigo together with Barend Tromp and Gregoor van der Loo, the style of this band is Drum & Bass mixed with Dance and Space elements.
