Morten Sørensen plays drums in Anubis Gate. He formed the band in 2001 with Jesper M. Jensen (guitars/bass/keyboards), a musician who had had played with thrash metal band Invocator back in the late eighties and early nineties.



In the early nineties, Morten played with rap-metal act Geronimo, hailing from Aalborg in Northern Denmark. Geronimo released a mini CD in 1995 but split up soon after.



This Morten Sørensen is not to be confused with Morten Løwe Sørensen of The Arcane Order, Submission and Koldborn fame.
