Mike Tibbert is a Dutch beat creator and producer. His biography, in his own words:



Started out making music when I was 16 years old inspired by my dad, who plays drums and put music in my system since birth. Ever since I first herd "me myself and I" by De La I fell in love with Hip Hop music. After experimenting with turntables me and my friends made the step from listening and spinning good music to making the music we all loved to listen to.



Ever since we made our first beats I started to write rhymes on the beats we just made and after a few years of practice the first tracks started to bang out the speakers of our bedroom studio. At this time I ran into CC and Tim who at that time were part of a crew called VSOP. Ever since the first hookup we connected and the next step for me was to join their crew together with my friends DJ MP and my production partner in crime from day one Remco Schouten. With VSOP we did two albums "Spelenderwijs" and "Huiswerk" and rocked shows all over the Netherlands from venues like Paradiso, Nighttown and Melkweg to festivals like Noorderslag, Planet Rock and Lowlands.



Now, 8 years later and after a personal creative downfall which lasted for about two years, the VSOP members all started to choose their own paths in music and so did I. I connected with young gun SirOJ, who sent me a beattape by email and asked me if I could rhyme to some of his beats. His beats had an enormous impact on me and instantly the first recordings were made. His beats and my rhymes blended like coolaid and water and after asking him to do the majority of my album we decided to put our heads together and started working on it.



Personal circumstances made it impossible for me to stay in my house in my beloved city of Rotterdam. SirOJ asked me if I wanted to share a house with him in Amsterdam and within a day I called him, telling him I decided to accept his offer. Now living together, we're connecting even more and are busy finishing the album, which is due to be released early 2007. After it's done, we're planning to bring some flavor to the dutch Hip Hop scene and, with the help of DJ Turne on the decks, blow up spots all over the country.
