Meg White, born as Megan Martha White, drums in Detroit-based rock duo The White Stripes. By playing simple minimalist rock, Jack and Meg have become one of the most prominent bands in the new garage rock sound.

Meg admits she enjoys all attention and compliments. In The Face she tells:

"I met Drew Barrymore in New York and she said she liked the band. That was really cool. I grew up on her. (...) [When we supported The Stones] we chatted to all of them. Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts watched us from by the stage, and shook our hands when we came off. Charlie said he enjoyed it. That felt good. You can't ask for more than that as a drummer."

But Meg White admits there is one dream she has yet to fulfil: "A guest appearance on 'The Simpsons' would be amazing".
