Mattias "Matt" Pettersson replaced temporary Misconduct-drummer Henke Bergström, who could not manage to take six weeks of for touring as the rest of the band wished to do. Mattias joined the band only three weeks before the tour started.
Mattias Pettersson was a guy from Charleswood who had played in several punk, metal & hardcore bands. It took only one rehearsal to see that Matt was the right man for the job, but he had a lot of work in front of him: he had to learn over 30 songs in three weeks. Matt Pettersson succeeded well and even managed to bring Misconduct to an even higher level than ever before.
After the tour they entered Rose Valley Studios together with legend "Hard Rock-Toby" to record 7 new tracks which resulted in a split-CD together with Toronto's Trigger Happy. The split was released on Bad Taste Records in March 2000.
After the Summer in 2002 Matt became a father for the second time and had to take care of his family. Daniel Ekström joined the band as Misconduct's new drummer.
