Matthew Solka started his musical journey at age seven. He always had music in his life thanks to his father's wide selection, varying from the gripping Pink Floyd and Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark, to the trip-hoppy likes of Massive attack and Les Negresses Vertes.



Matt Solka took piano lessons against his will at first, until he fell in love with harmony and rhythm. Then throughout middle and high school, Matt played the violin-cello.



Currently Matt Solka is in college playing with his band Ares from Largo, Forida.
