Matthew David McConaughey is best known as an actor, but he's also an avid percussionist. In particular, he likes drumming in the nude!



On October 26, 1999, Matthew McConaughey was at his home in Austin, Texas, playing congas in the early hours of the morning. After a neighbor complained and the police were called in. When they arrived, they found a totally naked Matthew

McConaughey drumming. Matt was charged with disturbing the peace. He pleaded guilty and paid a $50 fine.



In March 2012 Matthew McConaughey took to the stage at the South by Southwest music festival to play along on congas with eighties rockers The Cult.



In a 2013 interview, Matthew jokingly admitted: "Of course I still play the congas naked, I just close the windows."
