Matt Jordan is best known as drummer with Los Angeles-based metal band Viking. Founded in the spring of 1986, they released two full-length albums on the Metal Blade label, 1987's 'Do Or Die' and 1989's 'Man Of Straw'.



In 2011 Viking recorded their long-awaited comeback album, entitled 'No Child Left Behind', featuring Gene Hoglan on drums rather than Matt Jordan after his schedule suddenly rearranged which kept him from the studio dates the band had booked.
