Matthew Ellis plays drums. Currently he is bashing the skins with Daath. Says Ellis: "I've been doing it for about 12 years. The funny thing is that I played guitar first and still do. I don't know when but I'd like to play guitar in a band at somepoint.... maybe my own. I'll put something together at some point but it'll be a while before you'll hear it. I do love playing drums though... how often do you get to beat the living hell out of something. It's like therapy. I'm pretty laid back."

Berklee College Of Music in Boston, Massachusetts in 2004, with a major in Music Production & Engineering.
