Marcel van As is teacher at the Rock Academy in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Previoulsy he played drums in Handsome3some and joined the jazz-lounge project Kokos as DJ. Using the same pseudonym, Van As plays cajon and takes care of the loops and samples in Drums United, the percussion project featuring a.o. Lucas van Merwijk, Aly N'Diaye Rose, Nils Fischer and Gerardo Rosales.



Marcel van As is also drummer in eclectic pop outfit Coparck.
