Luke Cook joined reactiveted Australian thrashers Mortal Sin in April 2005, replacing original drummer Wayne Campbell.



Luke is former drummer from Australian Rock band Hypersonix who had a couple of minor hits in 2004 with Ritetyme & Favourite Cowboy.



In 2006 Luke "Chewy" Cook released a single with Mortal Sin entitled Out of the darkness. Soon after he started recording a full length album.



Luke "Chewy" Cook is also played for technical death metal band Vaticide, untill they decide to take an extensive break in July 2007.



In 2007 another break for Luke happens with Paiste cymbals. He stops his endorsement with the brand.
