Kirk Andre Bennett is a Jamaican Songwriter / Composer, Artist, Musician and Producer known widely by his professional name Kirkledove / Drummy.

Born in Trelawny, Jamaica he grew up in the second capital of Jamaica; Montego Bay where he had a keen interest in music from a tender age. At Muschett Comprehensive High in Jamaica he joined the school bands, which led him to realize his God given talent of playing the drums. He continued to follow this path as a musician and landed many gigs playing at hotels on the north coast of Jamaica. These include most of The Sandals Resorts and the Hedonisms’ Super Clubs and also on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line which gave him exposure beyond his wildest dreams. It was within these circles that the great Beres Hammond saw the true talent of his remarkable drumming skills and decided to add him to the Harmony House family as their drummer.

His musical background is filled with rich, soulful, powerful, electrifying music which he gained from touring with musical greats such as Beres Hammond Marcia Griffiths, Maxi Priest, Freddy Jackson, Toots Hibbert, Whaling Souls, Tanya Stephens, Anthony B, Daville, Busy Signal, Jah Cure, Bounty Killer and Elephant Man. He has gained vast knowledge from touring with these great individuals and as such was able to capitalize on these experience and allowed him to get a first class view of what it take to make it in the music industry.

Kirk “Kirkledove / Drummy” Bennett has written and composed some of the most intricate, scintillating riddims that has erupted on the international market with his biggest hit been the ‘Dutch Pat Riddim’ released in late 2006 with the hit single ‘Tek Weh Yuh Self’ performed by international recording artist Mr. Vegas .This riddim is also featured in a Xbox 360 game developed by the American Multinational Corporation “Microsoft”.

With every growing successful creation there follows others, ‘Remembrance Riddim’ another hit production released in the later part of 2008 with hit single ‘Daggering’ by Mr. Vegas. The ‘Livity Riddim’ features song such as ‘Over And Out’ by Lenn Hammond, ‘Never Run Short’ by Luciano, ‘You’re My All’ by Turbulence, ‘Righteous’ by Chrisinti, ‘Talking’ by Ambassada, ‘Walking Store’ by Ginjah, ‘Decision’ by Macky Conscious and ‘No Go Obeah Man’ by Kirkledove. Other compositions through 2010 to 2012 includes ‘Money Riddim’ , ‘Indian Baby Riddim’, ‘Pimento Seed Riddim’, ‘Watch On Riddim’, ‘B 53 Riddim’ and ‘Snap Riddim’.
