Karl Rosqvist drums in Vindikation. Previously he played in Steel Prophet.



The Vindikation line up is also featuring former Steel Prophet member Jim Williams (guitar), vocalist Jason McCrarey (Sanctus) and keyboardist Rob Rampley (Winds Died Down).



Rosqvist's new band started in 2002 when Williams and Rosqvist began writing more and more progressive minded metal music.



In March 2004 Steel Porhet announce to have replaced Karl Rosqvist with returning skinsman Kevin Cafferty. The latter is known as drummer on the "Messiah" album. Steel Prophet on their web site:

"Karl won't be playing on the new album ["Beware"] as he has joined a band called The Disciples. The Disciples have recently inked a deal with Capitol Records in the States and Karl felt it was a good opportunity. We hope it all works out for him and they sell a boatload of discs! Kevin is bringing the same energy he brought to 'Messiah' that made that album a real 'fan favorite'!"

In 2004 Karl is founding member and songwriter of the band Vindikation. The full length album called Chamber of Discontent was released by Progressive Arts Records.



As of now he is since 2005 fulltime member as the drummer of the Los Angeles based band The Chelsea Smiles. The band released the record Nowhere Ride EP on Capitol Records in June of 2005. The record was produced by Jerry Finn (producer of Green Day, Blink 182, Morrissey) The Chelsea Smiles did two full U.S. tours and played over one hundred shows in 2005. The song Nowhere Ride was featured in the Touchstone Pictures movie Annapolis (2005), featuring James Franco and Donnie Wahlberg.

The Chelsea Smiles were also featured in a new CBS TV-series called Close to Home. The Chelsea Smiles is currently in the process of recording the next full-length release.
