Dutch drummer Joop Korzelius was one of Europe's best and most famous jazz drummers in the 1950s. He drummed with Lou van Rees, Jerry van Roy Sextet, Wim Sonneveld, The Millers, The Skymasters, the Flamingo quintet, and Amsterdams Promenade Orkest (APO) among others.
Nowadays Joop Korzelius is homeless and he just sits outside the Salvation Army with a beer in his hand for most of the days.
