Jonathan Rushforth (Beverley, England, 1979), better known as "Junky Jon", has pounded the skins in extreme bands Gorerotted, Detrimentum, Infected Disarray, Brutal Insanity and Grot.



Jon Rusforth started playing drums at age thirteen and is completely self taught. He still names "ultra fast brutal blasting death grind" as musical inspiration, with monster drummer Pete Sandoval, Tony Loreno and Mick Harris in particular. Asked what he learned in 2005, Jonathan answers:

"Gravity Blasts! And more techniques to play faster with less effort/energy use!"

A new Gorerotted cd is coming up in 2006, and some other blasting death grind gore projects as well.
