Johan Lindstrand used to be vocalist in The Crown (featuring Janne Saarenpää on drums). However, he joined Impious as a drummer in 1995. Lindstrand replaced a drum machine. With Johan behind the drum kit Impious recorded their debut demo in the summer of ´95, called "Infernal Predomination". Shortly after the recording session drummer Johan had to quit the band due to lack of time, since he had to do the military service.



Johan Lindstrand was followed up by a session drummer named Marko until Ulf Johansson accepted the job as permanent drummer.
