Joey Heaslet was the original drummer in Southern California death metallers Deeds of Flesh when they started in 1993.
Due to Joey having to leave the band temporarily because of schooling opportunities, the band's second album "Inbreeding the Anthropophagi", released in 1998, featured his replacement Brad Palmer.
After the release of "Inbreeding the Anthropophagi", Joey Heaslet rejoined the band again, at least long enough to record their third album "Path of the Weakening".
Soon after Heaslet left again and was followed up by Viledrummer Mike Hamilton.
