Jody Cortez played drums for the glam rock band Cinderella. He replaced drummer Jim Drnec and was replaced by drummer Fred Coury shortly after the recording of Cinderella's debut album 'Night Songs'.



Although Jody played on 'Night Songs', Fred Coury was on the album photo and listed as a band member in the liner notes because he was by then a member of the band.

Furthermore, Jody Cortez has been associated with David Crosby and played on the hit single Hero by Crosby and Phil Collins.
