Jim Mothersbaugh was the original drummer in Devo. He played homemade electronic drums with the band between 1974 and early 1976. Later that year Jim was followed up by Alan Myers.



Jim Mothersbaugh eventually went to work for Roland, one of the top electronic musical instrument companies in the world, and he is listed as a technical consultant on Devo's album "Total Devo".
