Little is known about Jesús María Hernández Gil aka Txus. Born in Bilbao, he moved with his parents to Madrid as a child. Txus formed Mägo de Oz in the middle of 1989. Little by little the drummer went recruiting the rest of the members of the band, until achieving a first stable formation that would last up to 1995.
