Jens Maluschka was drummer in Leipzig based metal outfit Disillusion until April 2007. After six years of service, Maluschka stated in January 2007: "I want to concentrate more on my private life, meaning I will become a father in June of this year. At that time I wish to focus on my family. So, the decision has been made to leave the band." Maluschka had joined the band in 2000, replacing original sticksman Alex Motz.
