Poke (real name: Jean-Claude Olivier) is one half of Trackmasters Entertainment, a successful record production company. Trackmasters is completed by Tone, also known as Red Hot Lover Tone (real name: Sam Barnes).
They started off in the early 90's producing beats for hip-hop acts such as Big Daddy Kane, Chubb Rock and R.A. The Rugged Man (Crustified Dibbs).
The duo since has produced hits for a number of hip-hop and R&B artists, including Nas, Jay-Z, Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, The Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent, Destiny's Child, Foxy Brown, and LL Cool J.
During the late-1990s and early 2000s, Poke and Tone had a production deal with Columbia Records and had acts such as the R&B group Blaque signed to their Trackmasters imprint.
