Grant McFarland drums with This or the Apocalypse, and with Century, the band founded by one-time Armsbendback (Trustkill Records) guitarist Carson Slovak.



Before Century's first album was released, McFarland left to focus more on his current band This or the Apocalypse and was replaced by new drummer Matthew Smith. In February 2009, it was announced that McFarland had rejoined the band.



Grant McFarland started playing drums when he was eleven years old. He played snare drum for the elementary school band. Grant had various instructors in grade school for snare/marching snare, but when it comes to full kit he is self taught.
