Born in Barcelona Gerard Casajus is a percussionist who plays with drummer David Bourguignon in Radio Bemba Sound System, the band accompanying Manu Chao during live shows.



After three years of touring and over 120 concerts on three continents in front of a million fans, Manu Chao and his group, the Radio Remba Sound System has released their first live record. Of couse Casajus was also featured on the 2002 "Radio Bemba Sound System" live album.



Gerard Casajus is also drummer in La Kinky Beat, using the alias of Chalart58. La Kinky Beat emerged in May 2003 out of several other musical projects in the periphery of Barcelona, Spain. La Kinky Beat also features percussionist Manel Cabello.
