Friso van Wijck studies at the Conservatory of Rotterdam. He also plays drums in Trio Van Wijck, Kem & Van Milligen. This jazz outfit, also named Thijs van Milligen Trio, won the Erasmus jazz Prize in February 2004. They made it to the final of the Dutch Jazz Competition in 2005.
