His unique concepts in developing advanced reading skills, groove, independence, odd meters, ostinatos, cross rhythms, and the "drummer's mind" have challenged students of all levels at The Collective for over 10 years. Fred is the author of On Time and the booklet for Terry Bozzio's Solo Drums video. He performed Terry's chapter on the CD for Lessons with the Greats. Fred is also the composer of many commissioned scores for choreographers.
