Frédéric Guillemot was The Old Dead Tree's original drummer. Since the band's creation on February 18th 1997 until his death on August 2nd 1999, he held this post.



He marked in a definite way the band's composition and arrangement methods, wrote and recorded the drums parts of The Blossom and wrote the words of Chained To Life and Last Sigh.



Huge fan of seventies progressive music, his influences came from rock and metal.



His death marked deeply the band and the composed songs for "The Nameless Disease" are entirely dedicated to him. Frédéric Guillemot was replaced by Franck Métayer.
