It properly started when his grandad bought him his first drum kit at the age of 7. After a year or so after that his mum and dad saw potential and tried to cultivate it by getting him in the church band which gave him alot of experience playing in a group.
Euan currently plays with Strathclyde Jazz Orchestra, FC4TET (Jazz/hip hop group soon to be releasing their album on vinyl to several different countries), A Percussion Ensemble, The Fourth Crew (4 piece fusion band), A Jazz Quartet, 70s Backing Band and Gospel recording artist Ahmed Conteh.
2012 saw Euan play down at the BBC Cheltenham Jazz Festival where he got mentioned by Julian Joseph for Musicality, Communication and Technique and also got to sit in on the drum chair with Jazz trumpeter Abram Wilson at the age of 12.
2013 Was also the year Euan got into The National Youth Jazz Orchestra Of Scotland (NYJOS) at age 14.
Euan is the winner of the UK Young drummer of the Year 2015 having been a Finalist for 2013 (age 13) and 2014 (age 14) which has brought him a lot of recognition.
