Erlend "Sersjant" Erichsen played drums in Gorgoroth for several months in 2000. Erichsen is featured on the "Incipit Satan" album. He was replaced by Kvitrafn (real name: Einar Selvik).



Erichsen finished his debut novel, entitled "Nasjonalsatanisten", in 2005. It was released via Damm Forlag, a major Norwegian publisher.



The story of the novel is set in the early/mid-Nineties, when Norwegian black metal started to expand. Although the story is fictional, much of it is based on Erichsen's own experiences and observations as an active member of the scene.
