Erlend Gjerde (Oslo, 1978) , who is known for his drum work in the band Stonegard, joined Wardruna, the folk project featuring former Gorgoroth drummer Einar "Kvitrafn" Selvik, in August 2009.



Erlend Gjerde is also drummer with the bands Stonegard, and Djerv (featuring Agnete Kjølsrud of Animal Alpha).



He started playing drums in a punk band in 5th grade, probably in 1989.
