Born in Haverhill, Ma. U.S.A. Doug started playing at the age of 10.
Doug McKinnon played in Boston hardcore outfit Slapshot during their 1995 tour in support of the "16 Valve Hate" album. McKinnon replaced initial Slapshot drummer Mark McKaye.
From 1987 untill 1990 Doug McKinnon had played with The Vandals.
In 1996 he joins Crash kills Frour, Cheater in 1997 and Ignite for their U.S./Canadian tour 1997. But the reference list goes on: in 1998 he joins Speak 714. In 2005 Guajiro is the Hialeah Florida based rock band in which they do songs in English, Spanish and in most cases "Espanglish", a combo of both.
