Dogac Titiz is winner of Modern Drummer's Undiscovered Drummer Contest 2008 in the 18+ category.
Dogac Titiz started his music career with playing the violin, but then decided that he wanted to be a drummer. He went to Istanbul State Conservatory for his education. Dogac played for Duman and Athena, and lots of other Turkish musicians, including Ajda Pekkan, Suat Suna, Onur Mete, Fatih Erkoc, Birkan Sener, Gokcer Turan, Selcuk Suna, Onur Mete, Tarik Sezer, Cem Iyibardakci, Ismail Soyberk, Gokhan Varol, Murat Ibze, Dogan Canku, Erdal Kizilcay, Fatih Erkoc, Senova Ulker, Kent Mete, Aycan Teztel, Yahya Dai, Saskia Laroo, Askin Arsunan, Volkan Oktem, Yavuz Daridere, Tony Jones, Melis Sokmen, Zeynep Dizdar, Murat Boz, and the bands Duman, Athena, and 313 KD.
Dogac Titiz also played with classical orchestras such as Vals Orchestra, Cats, Evita (directed by Fahris Akarsu and Orhan Sanliel), Kuyruklu Yildiz (Composed by Melih Kibar of the Istanbul Municipality Theatre), the Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, Cemal Resit Rey, Bursa Symphony, and Istanbul University State Conservatory Orchestra.
Nowadays Dogac Titiz is doing his own projects.
He names Dave Weckl, Dave DiCenso, Vinnie Colaiuta, Garry Novak, El Negro, and Volkan Oktem as influential and inspirational drummers.
