Dave Balaski played drums in With Dead Hands Rising. After his addition the band announced:

""Our last drummer was more into old school hardcore or straight up hardcore so that definately came through as far as his drumming was concerned and modified our overall sound. Our new drummer [Dave Balaski] is definately a metalhead and his style of drumming is a lot more intense and overall faster paced."

However, after the band's debut album "Behind Inquisition" (2003) Balaski was replaced by Tim Java.
