Born on March 10 1973 in Finspång, Östergötland, nowadays Dan Swanö is hailing from Örebro, Sweden as drummer and backing-vocalist in Bloodbath and Ribspreader.



Swanö also played drums/drummed in the bands Ulan Bator, Unicorn and Wounded Knee. Dan has been hitting the skins since he was five.



For years he played in Edge of Sanity though not as their drummer. He has a projectstudio called "The Sanctuary" (Formely knows as Unisound). On his own web site Swanö tells:

"Between 1993 and 1997 I made my living running a recording studio called "Unisound" but I grew tired of the endless hours and insure paychecks, and moved the gear to my home and nowadays I only record my own bands. Nowadays I work at a musicstore called Musikbörsen, selling everything from plectrums to Pro-Tools. I spend my sparetime with my family or locked up in my homestudio."

Swanö produced many records of other artists and released music through his Nightingale-project.
